Charles R. Cox, Chief Executive Officer
Charles R. (Chuck) Cox is the Founder and CEO of The Company Jet, Northern Jet Management, and Northern Air, Inc. Mr. Cox has over 35 years of aviation and travel industry experience. In 1977, Mr. Cox founded the Aviation Consulting firm, Cox & Vogel Inc., and was President of Travel Consultants from 1985 to 1997 (then West Michigan's largest travel management company and one of the 35 largest Travel Management organizations in the US). Mr. Cox served as Chairman of Hickory Travel Systems, a Travel Agency Consortium. He has also served on the Advisory Boards and Corporate Boards of several companies and non profit organizations. In 2008, he was named a board member of the National Air Transportation Association (NATA). Mr. Cox is also a member of the World Presidents Organization. Mr. Cox is a Certified Travel Consultant (CTC) and completed studies at Embry Riddle Aeronautical University, located in Daytona Beach, FL.
Jeffrey A. Anderson, President and Chief Operating Officer
Mr. Jeffrey Anderson is the President and Chief Operating Officer at Northern Jet Management and Northern Air, Inc. He joined Northern Jet Management as Director of Operations in June 2002. Mr. Anderson has more than 17 years of successful senior leadership experience in the aviation industry and extensive knowledge of flight operations. Before joining Northern Jet Management, he initially served as Flight Follower, then Manager of Flight Control and then as General Manager for Flight Operations of Reliant Airlines, where he was responsible for leading the operations and logistics departments of the company. Prior to joining Reliant Airlines, he worked with Trans Continental Airlines. Mr. Anderson is an Airline Transport Pilot and Flight Instructor. He completed studies in business management at Washtenaw Community College, located in Ann Arbor, MI.
Mark A. Serbenski, Vice President of Sales
Mark Serbenski is the Vice President of Aircraft Sales at Northern Air, Inc. Mr. Serbenski joined Northern Air as Director of Maintenance in November 2001. Prior to his career with Northern Air, he served as Service Manager for Waco Classic Aircraft/Centennial Aircraft. His career includes various positions as Maintenance Instructor, Aircraft Maintenance Technician, and Director of Operations over a ten year period with Western Michigan University. Mark holds FAA licenses A&P with Inspection Authorization. Mr. Serbenski graduated from Western Michigan University with a Bachelors degree in Science and Aircraft Maintenance Management.
Rick L. Hansen, Chief Pilot
Rick Hansen is the Chief Pilot for Northern Jet Management. Mr. Hansen has nearly 20 years of flying and FAR135 operations and management experience. Prior to his career at Northern Jet Management in 2002, Rick served as the Director of Operations and Chief Pilot for Corporate Aviation, Inc. His career also includes positions as Crew Captain on Dassault Falcon 10, Learjet 40/45, and Cessna Citation Bravo. Mr. Hansen holds type ratings in Mitsubishi MU-300, Raytheon BE-400, Dassault DA-10, Cessna CE-500, and Learjet LJ-45. Rick graduated from Muskegon Community College with his degree in Electronics.
Eloise J. Luyk, Vice President of Human Resources
Eloise J. Luyk is the Vice President of Human Resources for The Company Jet, Northern Jet Management, and Northern Air. Mrs. Luyk has 11 years of experience in all aspects of human resources management with the last eight years as a director in a manufacturing environment. Prior to joining The Company Jet, Northern Jet Management and Northern Air, she served as Human Resources Services Director at Steelcase, Inc. Mrs. Luyk also acquired broad based experience through her involvement as a business partner in her role as Human Resource Director, Manager, Unit Leader and Special Products Engineering Manager at Wood Furniture for more than 13 years. She is an active member of the community representing many professional and civic associations.
